We regret to inform you that the 2018 Offshore Shootout tournament to be held August 10-12 has been postponed until 2019.

We feel that conflicting events on the same weekend led to poor registrations and we want to ensure a quality event with great payouts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The Offshore Shootout will return in 2019 to benefit the Coastal Conservation Association of California.

The Coastal Conservation Association of California (CCA-CAL) is an impactful organization that represents recreational anglers on a state and federal level. It is very important that fisherman across the state find ways to support organizations that promote conservation, sustainable access and ethical fishing practices. BD Outdoors has chosen to support CCA-CAL and as a result of their efforts and they have given us a voice in government on issues that impact our sport.

In the meantime, please consider joining the CCA-CAL http://www.ccacalifornia.org

THE FISH ARE BACK, AND SO IS THE OFFSHORE SHOOTOUT TOURNAMENT

It’s going to be better than ever, plus now it benefits a great cause!

The 2018 Offshore ShootOut Tournament will support the Coastal Conservation Association of California (CCA CAL). CCA CAL is the voice for all of California’s Saltwater Anglers with a focus on Habitat, Hatcheries and an Advocacy.  By fishing the tournament, you will also receive admission to the CCA CAL San Diego Chapter banquet which will be held in conjunction with the tournament banquet at Portuguese Hall on Shelter Island.

SoCal’s offshore fishing scene has been on a high thanks to a series of unprecedented epic seasons. First was El Nino and its parade of exotics in home waters. Then the last two years with jumbo bluefin tuna in SoCal waters like never before. What will this year’s epic bite be about? One thing is for sure, it’s already showing signs of another banner fishing season.

The Offshore Shootout Tournament will soon retake its place as one of SoCal’s most beloved fishing events.

The Offshore Shootout Tournament has something for everyone. Whether you like marlin fishing, meat fishing or both, the tournament format offers many ways to win great cash and prizes.  Anglers also have the option to enter exciting new side Jackpots for and added chance to win.
